When walking down any UK high street you cannot help but notice that all the shops are having sales to attract custom. Is this the same in Orlando at this time? Hoping to compensate for the poor £/$ exchange rate!!

I hope they are as I'm planning on doing my Christmas shopping out there next month!

Ladies

Take the glass half full approach and think positive !

The first time we went in 2000 we only got $1.36 to the £1. So don't think of the current rate as poor. Better than the euro rate for sure !

Also use one of the credit cards that are mentioned on here that use the inter-bank rate rather the tourist rate. Will save you £'s. Ours is a Nationwide card.

I hope the dollar is starting to be stronger against pound i have not been to see my family in so long dying to go toEurope again.

just looked and it is 1.75 on nationwide card, still pretty good value, i would imagine that with the state of the american economy thgere will be lots of sales on, there certainly will when i go on 29th December
