Are sellers listing their contacts with multiple brokers at different price/point? It seems weird to me, but maybe I'm just thinking in terms of selling real estate.

There is the exact same 230 pt Dec SSR contract with 50 pts available (49 borrowed from 216) can close March 2016 listed on 3 different broker sites at different prices.

Is this done? I was thinking it looks interesting for us if we get ROFRed on our current contract, but this feels a little off to me. Maybe the sites are not up-to-date or maybe I'm just paranoid :)

My understanding is that you can list with more than one broker. Maybe the price differences are the sellers way of covering their commission fees and different brokers charge different fees.

Good to know thanks. I'd just assumed that there was a contract of exclusivity signed by the broker & seller.

It would still make me wary. The seller has the right to back out of the contract up until a certain point, correct? I assume that the seller could back out of the contract if s/he had a higher priced offer with a different broker.

Could that contract be listed as sale pending with one broker & still available with another?

No, the s leer does not have any sort of escape clause once a contract is signed.
Thanks! This is a huge learning process. Every time we think we've figured it out another question pops up. It's awesome to have the DIS to help us navigate through it :disrocks:
