Salad as an Appetizer?

Does anyone know if on the Dining Plan, a salad is considered an appetizer? Trying to decide between Big River Grill and Yacht Galley for a TS dinner....and not of the regular appetizer's appeal to us, so would love to get salads.

Do house salads not normally come with meals at the steakhouses, etc? I've looked at the menu's on allears.net and they don't list bread or salads or anything, and I know at at LeCellier, for example, you get bread. Does it come with salad too?
