Salad after arriving at MCO

We will be arriving at MCO at 10:55 am. So by the time we get our luggage & get the rental car, we'll want lunch. We'd like to eat healthy - like a nice salad. We also usually take Rte 417 to get to our destination.

We have eaten numerous times at Crispers and really like their food. Have never tried Sweet Tomatoes.

Does anyone know of any place that's fairly close to the airport but also easy off/off from 417?

I have been to the Sweet Tomatoes in the shopping center near Downtown Disney. It is fantastic. If you go on their website, you can download a "buy one; get one half off" coupon.

Sweet Tomatoes is tasty. And the price is low enough that even if you *only* have a salad it's still a good deal, since salads can be expensive!

It's the same company that runs Zoopa and Fresh Choice places...same food, same setup, etc.

There are numerous restaurants in the hubs at the airline gates, and also a food court in the main terminal.
I can't speak much to the quality of food other than for the burgers and fries, but it will save you a bit of time. Otherwise you'll be at Disney in 30 minutes at most from the time you get your car, and then you will have tons of choices.

I would highly recommend going to Sweet Tomatos and there is one located in the Crossroads Plaza on Lake Buena Vista/535, which is also across the street from the Walt Disney World entrnace that takes you right to Downtown Disney.

If you can't wait till you get to Disney, there is an Au Bon Pain inside the airport. they have salads.

When we landed, I had a Wendy's berry-almond-chicken salad at the airport. They are yummy!
