Can anyone tell me how the AKL compares with the CSR. Have stayed at CSR 3 times and BWI once and to be honest really didn't feel BWI was worth the extra $. For this trip AKL is my family's pic and I am wondering if any other Maritimers have stay there?

I usually hang out on the DVC boards, Disneyland forums and games area, so I'm not familiar with the Oct board. I looked on the DISmeets forum, but didn't see anything there....can anyone help out?

Nothing on the Dis Meets forum as of yesterday. Setting up something for the last week in Oct would be fun.

Franandaj .... I see your posts on the Disneyland board all the time. I live in Sacramento but would LOVE to live in Long Beach .... maybe we'll meet in DL sometime.

We will be there the last week too. Oct.22nd-29th

We arrive on property on the 27th (we are at Universal the two days prior), I agree that waiting until after August 16th is best so that we know what events we'll be attending for sure.

DL is my first love expecially since it's so close by, but WDW is too much fun too! I love living in Long Beach! Sacramento is a nice town, but soooo hot in the summertime! In the non summer months I usually get to DL often, so you never know, we may meet up in CA!

That's 4 of us that will be overlapping stays . After F&W reservations are made we'll definitely have to put something more concrete together for a meet !

Thought many of you might enjoy some pics of the giraffes we took at the N.E.W. Zoo (NorthEastern Wisconsin Zoo). It's a smaller zoo and not AKL, but you can feed the giraffes which is really fun!

However, mom and stepdad are coming along this trip...and they're staying at All Star Music.

Going to try to get them switched to free dining (with upgrade from QSDP to DDP) shortly.

Deal went live at 7 AM and that thread has been growing at an exponential rate all AM. The traffic in that thread is creaming the boards.
