Hey Everyone --- did ya miss me???? LOL

So, first of all - got my epidural last thurs. - WOW - on friday I felt like superwoman - no pain, just a little sore - roaring to go - sat. flew out to hartford, drove to north haven.......... and thought I was gonna die....... talk about sore, stiff, in some, (not bad) but some pain and just totally wiped out - I was SO tired - ( I have YET to sleep a full night still - dr. said I'd not sleep from the steriod, but come on already) - Sun. still tired and sore - but, was more than ready for the wedding - it was amazing!!!!! They both looked so great - I cried - a LOT - youngest ds was the perfect ring bearer - lol (and tissue wingman for his big bro) lol - we had the BEST time, loved every second of it!!! AND we had LOBSTERS!!! whoot whoot - dh got a 10 lb. lobster - OMG, i've never seen anything like it before! they were so good though!!! - I thought of you Pilferk the whole time!!!

So, here is a pic of my handsome son and beautiful new daughter in law!!!

Well you know what they say, "when it rains, it pours". We got a call from my mil yesterday morning saying dh's grandma passed away. Now we are trying to figure out if he will get to go to the funeral. We still don't know if we are leaving for Disney in 9 days or not, i should know something more by the end of today.

Ok, so the manager yesterday (4 times, does he really think thats necessary?) says he think he'll keep 3 out of 4 of us...Well, I'm bound and determined to be one of them, especially as I got some bad financial info last night when I got home from work, and things are pretty bad right now, and my Oct trip is now in Jeopardy I'll do everything in my power to not have to cancel, but in this family, when it rains it pours

I booked AKL for two nights at the end of this month in a standard room and I was wondering where the best location is to request. We are two adults who will be in and out of the parks all day and would like to be close to transportation and the food court. We dont have the option to upgrade to a Pool view, has to be standard. Thanks for the help!

Hi, we stayed in a standard room too! Your best bet is requesting either Giraffe or Zebra Trail. We requested Zebra Trail for the same reasons as you (transportation, food court). Though our request wasn't technically met, we were in the first room of the hallway on Kudu Trail with a half-view of the savannah. The location wasn't far from the transportation or food court at all.

In my opinion, standard rooms have the best overall location at AKL--close to everything and at the front of the resort! Have a great trip!
