Sailing the Ocean Blue...October 6, 2012 Eastern Fantasy

Champagne? Count me in. Scrapbooking? I'm down. Trivia. Bingo. Movies in the theater. Hanging out in that sky bar where the scene changes & I can feel like I'm in Tokyo one minute & Paris the next. And while I'm there I'm having some Bailey's mixed with banana & coconut. I'll hit all the Disney shows & love it. I'll pose with characters & my husband will hate it. I'll find whatever nook is hiding the chocolate-covered strawberries. The beach will summon me when we dock but I won't stay long because free cheese from room service will lure me back. I'll meet some DISers that have the potential of being lifelong pals. And others that will hate me when I hog the mike at karaoke. All in all, I'm going to have a splendid time.

I'm dairy protein, my hubby's MSG, Both kids are nuts with a few other minor allergies... Yeah we're really fun to have over for dinner!

I have an allergy of peppers and onions and I let Guest Services know as soon as we board (well, after I've had my first cruise cocktail) .. then I speak to the Head Server as soon as we arrive in the first restaurant.

The chef will come out to speak to you and devise a plan .. they are out of this world of course!

On your tour Two Flags... how far away from the ship did they drop you off and how did you get back to the ship.. Walk or taxi. I have a hard time walking, so this is why I am asking.. Sure do hope we get to VI>> this is the reason for the cruise for us..

Julie, that was about 4 years ago and I think we took a taxi back.. as I have trouble walking any great distance, have bursitis in both hips. They let us off the bus right in the shopping district. I got me a diamond necklace!

Do you know if their was a pandora shop downtown? What kind of shopping did they have? Did you take a taxi back?

I'm sorry, but don't have a clue about a Pandora shop in St. Marteen. They had a bazillion jewelry shops!!!!!!

I'm sorry, but don't have a clue about a Pandora shop in St. Marteen. They had a bazillion jewelry shops!!!!!!

There is a Pandora shop in St. Thomas at BOOLCHAND'S in Havensight mall next to the cruise ships.. I do not think there is one in St. Maarten.

I have an idea!!! Why don't we all wear cheap mardi gras beads? They sell them at the Dollar Store. We did this for a Carnival cruise and it worked out.

Besides, I have lots of these beads.

Or some could wear bracelets and some could wear beads!

As a scrapbooker, I'm thinking more on the lines of inexpensive and can put in a scrapbook instead of something that I will probably throw away. You can order customized ribbon from a place on the internet. Just another idea.

When I was in Home Depot two days ago they still had the paint and paint chips. I even called and they said that they are still carrying it and no plans to stop. I think maybe in some stores that it is not a big seller the may not have it, but I would check with your local Home Depot first, they may have it.

Beth, maybe it was the home depot I went into in Vegas is not carrying it anymore... the little lime green mickey head is so cute ..
At Orienial Trading the they have wrist band that can be torn off after you use them and they have lime green- it is only $8.95 for 100 of them...

Beth my daughter said her Dis group meet at Nemos Reef still on deck 11 , and the kids had a place to go..

I have so many of those chips it isn't even funny, every time we go there my DD 4 has to grab a handful of all different colors, mostly from the purple family, since that is her favorite color and her next favorite is green...

Sounds like a good place to meet, especially families with small children.
