Hi! We just booked this cruise over the weekend. At this time it's only me (Susan) and my husband (John), both 55. At the time of posting, this is our first vacation alone since children (27 years ago). This could always change We have been on the Magic and Wonder so many times it's like coming home so this new ship will be an adventure in its self. Can't wait to meet everyone. We are in cabin #8502.

I am Disney_Alli's sister and my DH and I will be onboard as well. This will be our second disney cruise. Our first is in 3 months and 12 days! I am almost more excited for this Fantasy cruise than our upcoming MR cruise.

Seen plenty of babies on the 15 plus cruises my family has been on. My youngest (21) has been cruising since she was 2. Couldn't pick a better cruise line than Disney!

We will also be joining ya'll on the cruise. It will be our 2nd Disney cruise.
It will be
DH who will be 38 at time of cruise
Me who will be 40 at time of cruise
DD who will be 2mths shy of 17.
DD who will turn 13 on the cruise.
It's our fall break also.
We love Disney. Wanted to get another Disney cruise in before DD17 goes to college. (We can only afford to take one over fall break)
We live in Adams, TN
I LOVE the DIS boards as ya'll are the only ones who understand my love for Disney.

Going on the Fantasy for our first Disney Cruise, myself, DH, DD (age 4 at time of cruise). DS & DBIL are also sailing on the same trip (their fourth Disney Cruise). I cannot wait, DD has been to Disney World three times and loves it, so I know this is going to be an awesome trip for the whole family.

We got back from our first ever Disney Cruise a month ago. We booked our next cruise, on the Fantasy, while we were on the ship. Can't wait!!! It will be me, my husband, our daughter and possible our son (who will be an adult by then so we will see).

I'm on the fence. We have the last 2 cruises but I'm a little worried about the size of the ship and delivery. It could be exhausting on the smaller ship and I can't imagine what it could be like on the new ones.

Anyone out there been on the new ships and done the FE exchange and have any comments?

I feel the same way. I am interested and it sounds like alot of fun but I too am wondering about the size and the time that it will take to deliver. As it is only 7 days and there is so much to do. It would be nice if my dd's would help with delivery as they will be 16 and 13 and they like roaming the ship anyway.
I read on another thread where the FE master can decide how everything is to be split up depending on how large the group is. Some groups who are large and split the groups do it by decks or by sides or front/back of ship. So I guess there are many options.

We are seriously thinking about switching our Fantasy Cruise this this October Cruise. It would be my 40th birthday the day before we would cruise. Just concerned about my twins missing 4 days from 5th grade that is all.

If we cruise with you I am happy to organize the FE exchange. Did it for my upcoming cruise in a few weeks and it was GREAT!! We have a large group and we did divide the group in half!!

I hope you get to go I will be 40 1/2. I don't know about your schools. But when my dd was in 5th grade this past year and was out for a week sick, she didn't have a lot of work to make up. That is our fall break. I took my oldest dd out of school one week for vacation back when she was in 3rd or 4th grade and I had it excused prior to the trip and she received her work before we left so she worked on it on the way and on the way back. (Something to do during the long drive?)
