I'm sorry about the loss of your dog. You should give yourself a pat on the back for adopting an older pet. A lot of people don't adopt older pets from humane societies. I just adopted a 6 year old cat from animal shelter and I feel good aout it because that cat can have a good life for the rest of his life.

Wonderful to hear about an old boy getting a second chance at life. I bet those 4 years were the happiest of his life. I'm so sorry for your loss.
