Sagamore xtra pts for more people

I recently booked a few nights at the Sagamore in Lake George. While making the ressie, MS told me that there was an extra 8 points per person after the first 2 people in the room. I was not aware of this. Is this a new policy? Has anyone ever heard of this? Does this happen at other Concierge Resorts during a high season?

It has to be new. I booked the Sagamore on points a couple of Thanksgivings ago and didn't have to pay extra points per person. Are you going during August (aka racing season at Saratoga) by any chance?

You pay extra for more than two people in a lot of places. This is not uncommon.
