We stayed there for a weekend in the summer of '03 but I don't remember how many points we used. It is a very beautiful resort. They do have a dress code and when we went I was 6 months pregnant and felt very underdressed since I didn't really have any upscale maternity cloths. The food is also very expensive if you want to eat at the resort. We only ate a few times at the resort and mostly ate in town or at the Great Escape Theme Park.

We went last summer (myself, DH and DDs 3 and 6) and were completely unimpressed with the resort. The accomodations are supposed to be equivalent to a 1 bedroom, however they are located on the lower floor and have almost a basement feeling. The dehumidifier must run constantly due to the dampness and wreaked havoc on my allergies. The children were not allowed in the dining room during the summer months. The pool is indoors and was filthy. And to top it off we lost power for 2 days due to a storm (no A/C in July!).
I liked the area and the local restaurants, I just don't feel trading DVC points for it is worth it. We used over 240 points for this as compared to 165 at HH the summer before for a two bedroom. Without bringing children you may be able to stay in the main hotel and enjoy what the resort has to offer, but if you are bringing children go elsewhere!
Feel free to PM if you fave specific questions.

Thanks for the tip- we were thinking of trying it but with three young kids we now may wait.
