I LOVE THIS CHANGE!!

It is an easy walk over the bridge to the lobby - be sure to request a corner room - it makes a nice difference at this resort. Parterre Place is my favorite because it has nicer river views...and some of the corner rooms open to a courtyard on one side....but.... Oak Manor would be a bit closer to the bridge and with 3 little ones those few steps can make a difference.

The Royal Rooms look like so much fun for little girls!

Thanks Christine!!! I have been studying the maps, and it's hard to tell if its a bridge there...so now I know Queen beds are great since all 4 of us will be in one The girls already loved the idea BEFORE I showed them the pictures...after the pictures they are begging me not to change again

Since you booked a RR RV, can you request a king bed? Then you'd have more room... I know a a king can be booked, but not sure if there is a king, RR and RV option?

We loved CBR when we first stayed there in '88 - it was brand new and we wanted to try a resort not on the monorail for change. We went back 4 times...but when we stayed again in 2004 it had changed so much that I never want to go back. We always had a corner, lake view room in Martinique, not more than 3 mins from the food court...so that was great...but did not like having the lobby separate and not easy to get to - especially after all calls started going to a call center.

Anyway!! POR is also spread out and I'd not want to be in one of the distant bldgs....at POR I would only book a RV room and then request a couple of bldgs...but you are safe in RR! It's going to be fabulous!

Don't be surprised if the CM at check-in isn't the most magical you've ever met....the CM's at check-in kind of have a rep for not being as friendly as other resorts...just keep smiling and showing off those gorgeous Princesses!!

I cannot wait for pictures from this trip!!! Hey, and you used to text me pics, so I'd better see some again!!

A Princess Room ......... I knew it! I knew it! Yip, I knew you'd change it again.

We were booked in a Princess Room in February and got upgraded to the Poly because they were not ready then.
Can't wait to hear more!
Riverside is beautiful! Have a Magic Cookie bar for me and enjoy the boat transportation to DTD!

This trip is most definitetly different for us. Especially since I am going with the girls...I think I am bringing a stroller...but not sure, they never want to sit

With HRH's sensory issues...POR looks relaxing , I did bring it up yesterday...and it's a go!!!

POR Royal Room~River View

River view was the only one available with the AP rate And it's almost $200 less than the Lion King room. So I am reworking our Touring Plans

They make them in pink!!!



I am much more settled with POR..I know where we will be since the RR are in 2 buildings!! Boat to DTD!! Butterfly garden!

Nervous about all the bus stops, but I think the walk to the 1st stop shouldn't be too bad...I hope at least

Sorry I'm slow posting about your latest change but I do have an excuse .... I'm at WDW! Anyway I love this change. POR is my favorite mod ..... maybe because it is the very first onsite resort we stayed at. I agree that you should ask for a corner room ... that extra bit of light does make a difference. Did you book that Jan airfare yet? Also shouldn't you be texting your mama some pictures?

Would you believe I have not even looked at a map of the resort yet??????? You just tell me what to request and I'll do it ....... one less thing for me to think about! When I get home I'll call and add you and your flight info ....... and room requests! I think I will wander over there Thurs and take a look.

I booked the HH area at OKW and I ended up in bldg 14. This is a perfect location for me ... close to pool and food!

For more than a night or two, I am always in charge of room requests!! Guess I would qualify as the request Queen!! Funny, in our 30 years of Disney visits, I remember every detail about room locations/views etc - even if I've not yet stayed at the resort. I love a view, doesn't matter which resort. Just funny that way, I guess. Also, will be calling my back room connection in special needs next month about WL.
