Safeway no longer delivering groceries after July 7, 2018

I just received an email that Safeway will no longer be delivering groceries to my area (around Disney World) after July 7, 2018. It was such a good deal for us because we have Safeway at home. Delivery was free and we were able to use great coupons.

I've often felt like a cheerleader for Safeway grocery delivery at Disney World. I guess I wasn't doing a good enough job!

I'm sad....had my cart all ready to go for our trip in a couple of weeks. I guess I will go back to the Instacart/Publix option. SIGH....

I was planning on safeway also. we have always used garden grocer and wanted to try safeway because of the price. I would be curious if this is a disney decision or safeway decision - either way its sad I don't have a plan B yet

Publix is purchasing the Florida Safeway locations.
