Safety Gate help

We need to get a safety gate for the top of our stairs. I need one that when you release the latch the gate retracts a little. I bought a Safety First and it didn't work.

Anyone have what I need? What brand????

We just bought a kidco one....its an extendable one about $85 and you can get extensions plus it has a door you can walk through and is pressure mounted. It works really well. You can see it on Babiesrus.com, or on the kidco site.

We needed a longer one - ended up with one of the wood type - just left it hooked all of the time and hopped over it
