Hi

Does anyone know whether there are safes in the Santa Fe rooms??? If there are does anyone know how to use them?? Thanks:thumbsup2

I'm pretty sure both the Santa Fe and the Cheyenne have room safes now. They are code ones, which you set yourself.

Great news!

Sorry for the misinformation!

When we stayed at SL we didn't have one so I wrong assumed it was only HNY and DLH. Really glad to hear they all have them as its horrible not having somewhere to keep your passport.

If its the same safe we had in HNY then it's a good size too!

No worries - DH tells me we did have a safe in the Cheyenne - but I don't remember seeing it - probably because I was that tired! :rotfl::rotfl:

Here's hoping! As I've invested in a portable DVD player so that I could look at my photo's on there and re-take them if necessary!:woohoo::woohoo:

Does this apply to SL as well? If not, it seems odd that they would update the rooms but not put them in?

Personally find having to queue in the mornings to access the safety deposit box a pain, especially when they are busy!

When we stayed in one of the refurbed lodges at the Sequoia we had a safe, it came in very handy for stashing the iPad in.

I was always put off using the safety deposit box at reception as I presumed all the staff have access to it??? Or do you have a personal number for it?? Thanks:thumbsup2

BRILLIANT! Finally! Thank you! :)

Aliscrapper - You each get one key, so you need to only keep your key safe :)

Basically, staff can't open your safe without your key as well - if you lose your key however, it's 100 euros to get access. So just be careful!

Personally, I'm so glad there is a safety box though, as said always found it a pain at reception.
