Safes at Vero, Kidani?????

How large are in room safes at Vero and Kidani?

There recently was a burglary at a room at Port Orleans French Quarters.

Quite upsetting for that to happen..Apparently Disney was very accomodating and moved them to a deluxe hotel, think Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I'm always very diligent about safety on vacation, but 2 questions.
Vero and Kidani, how big are safes and are they combo type or key type?

Kidani's safes are good sized - wallets, travel case with jewelry/medication, camera fit inside with room left. They are keyless and you enter your own combination.

New Property! I SO MUCH PREFER not having to carry a key, but having a keyless code.

Anyone know about Vero safes? Pretty large? Keyless or key type?

As mentioned, the Kidani safes are the best ones we have ever had at Disney. Most of the other ones have a key, including Vero the last time we were there a few years ago. You can fit more than one laptop in the safe at Kidani and it is keyless. I'm not sure what took DVC so long, but I really wish they would put these in all the DVC units. Most of the other ones are in the wall and are much smaller and I also hate carrying a key around everywhere (which has a little tag reminding you how much they will charge you if you lose the dang thing). I think it's more important than a flat screen TV that you can't watch hardly anything on besides religious programs and Disney commericals.
