Safe Travels accounts for children under one or both parents?

We are preparing for a trip later this year, and are in the process of creating our safe travels accounts. Does anyone know if it's best to put the children under one or both of the parents ?

For the flight, I think it's probably fine to have them under one parent. I'm more concerned once we're on the island. If my son is only on my account, is he still able to go someplace with my wife that requires proof of vaccination? She won't have his QR code information on her account.

My thought is to register the children with one parent to avoid confusion. I suggest you send an email to info@gohawaii.com for correct info from the source.

Since we have arrived we have never been asked to show our QR codes, only to show our vax cards.

Just one parent!!!

We just did this last week. My husband and I both registered the kids under our own separate accounts. There was basically mass confusion at the airport when we registered. Hahaha. I registered first and then when my husband went to do his, it had an error message of some type. We had to go in the back of the line, sign in again, stand there in a panic. Luckily one of the agents then figured it out.

Just finished reading the rest of your post. We literally got home from Hawaii (Honolulu, Big Island and Maui) three days ago. What we would do in your situation is take screen shots of the QR codes. Our codes had my name listed and then had my sons names listed underneath mine. Send the screen shot of your wife's QR code that lists your kids names to your phone so you have it. Alternatively, bring your vaccine cards or photos of the vaccine cards. We thought we would need to show the QR codes everywhere. In reality, we only showed them ONE TIME at the airport. Never in a restaurant, store, hotel, etc. Many places had signs that requested them so we would pull them out but they were never looked at. It seemed like many Hawaiians were just kind of over it. One store employee said to us, "no need to see those. If you made it this far, I trust you" Hahaha.

This is great info. Thanks so much.

I know it’s set to expire in a few weeks but just case you’re going before it does. Put your kids only under ONE of the parents.

I spoke to someone at Aulani a few weeks ago and they strongly urged my family to only list the kids under one parent even though I hadn't even asked about that particular question.
