Safe Travels account

Hello,

My husband and I have a trip to Hawaii planned for end of February, when do we need to set up our Safe Travels account and upload our vaccine cards? The website implies that you need to set up the accounts once you have your lodging and flights booked -- which we do. However we are not sure if my husband is going to get a booster shot in the coming weeks and want to make sure that whichever vaccine card is uploaded and presented is the most up to date. He is a healthcare worker and looks like there is discussion that healthcare workers may be part of the "high risk" group for boosters but nothing has been officially decided.

Any helps or tips would be much appreciated.

There really isn't any reason to set it up this early. I'd wait until early January before doing anything. The whole situation might change by then and you may not even need to follow the current protocols.
