Just wondering if it would be safe to leave the diaper bag with the stroller while we are on rides. I would not leave money or anything of value but only diapers and wipes. Think it would disappear on me?

How about if I just had some diapers and wipes in ziplock bags in the basket of the stroller?

Just trying to cut down on what I have to haul along with me each time we go on a ride.

Thank you for any advice or input.

We have always left our diper bag and never had any problems with anyone bothering our stuff. They do move the strollers to "tidy up" so if you don't see your stroller right away just look around it probably just got parked in a different spot. I would not leave anything expensive but regular diper bag stuff is no problem.

As long as you are not leaving anything of particular value in there (money, ect) I would think it would be fine. We carried a backpack, which had all of our stuff in it including valubles so we took ours into attractions, but we saw many strollers parked with diaper bags in them. I would just make sure to leave it in the basket (if it has one) instead of just hanging from the handle. We left our squeeze breeze bottles in the baskets in our stroller with never any problems. We kept pull-ups and a small package of travel wipes in a zip-lock bag in either the front pocket of our backpack or in the basket in the stroller. Every day we were there we became more streamlined when we realized what we needed, what we were using and not using, ect. The less you must cart around the better IMO!

We have always taken a (rather large - but usually not full) backpack with us every day. We have no problem leaving it in the stroller while we are on a ride or in a show.

If you still don't feel comfortable, I read in a guidebook where one family crumpled up a clean diaper, poured root beer on strategic places and hung it from a clear plastic bag on their stroller. I don't think anyone would come near that stroller, much less your bag. LOL

On our trip two years ago we always left our diaper bag in the stroller and never had any problems. We did take our camera's and other valuables with us on the rides and in attractions. We also had two strollers and always parked them together and always found them together. I would suggest putting a ribbon of some kind tied to your stroller to make it easier to find. There may someone else with the same stroller and the ribbon would help to identify yours quickly.

We always pack everything for the kids in a back pack, diapers, wipes, formula, bib, burp rag, change of clothes, snacks, etc. That way we can just take it with us on the rides. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it with the stroller. ;)

We went to a themepark ( not disney) and purchased a frozen lemonade in a souvenir cup. And then left it in our stoller for not more than 5 or 6 minutes. And darned if someone didn't take it. I was so annoyed. I am so sure they dumped the drink and just refilled it. But it made me so mad. I think we will take most of our stuff with us, but might leave the baby wipes, band aids, etc. in a clear bag in the stroller. That way noone will take it thinking to find something valuable.

I second the idea of leaving the diapers in a clear bag, or even just lying in the stroller basket. If someone sees a bag, they may take it to see if there is anything valuable. No bag may mean no temptation.

BTW, I did leave the diapers and wipes in the stroller, sometimes with the framed backpack baby carrier, and our suff was fine. Unfortunately, even at Disney, you never know what will happen.

We have left soft cooler bags, diapers and other essentials with the stoller. Never a problem.

Camera, wallets, car keys, etc - we take with us.

My feeling is why leave the temptation there??? I put the nonvaluables (like diapers, etc.) in a clear bag, so it's obvious what's inside. Then I put it in the basket of my stroller....Being in Disney is like a fairy tale, but unfortunately the reality of our times does creap in.....
(As a side point, make sure you tie a ribbon or something distinctive to your stroller so it's easy to spot later on!...You will be so surprised as to how many strollers you'll see that look just like yours!)
