Safe place to park a car?

OK. Here's the situation. 8 people, 2 cars, 1 suite at hotel right across from Disneyland = 1 parking spot. Any ideas on a place to park a second car for our trip? The difference in price to go to two rooms is $177 for the 5 nights. Is there anyplace reasonably nearby I can safely park a car for less than that? When I say reasonable, I mean like within a 30 minute drive (I don't want to leave the car in San Diego or anything).

TIA :)

I would call and check with them. They might make exceptions for people in the suites if they call ahead - you never know.

If that doesn't work then I wonder if you could park over by the hyatt? When we stayed at the hyatt the parking lot seemed like it was run by an outside company but I'm not sure. I think it was around $15 a day to park there.

Well, they charge $8 for the first car and say repeatedly on their website that it is limited to 1 car per room. (Desert Inn and Suites)

I'm looking at their site and I see "Limited Parking" mentioned a few times and "Free Limited Parking" mentioned once. I am sure you are not the first person with 2 cars. I would call them. Let them know you are a large group, renting a suite, have 2 cars and ask what they can accommodate/recommend. :goodvibes

I stayed at the Clarion once on Harbor, and I got the impression that their parking lot worked the same way. That was 2 years ago, however.

Definitely call and ask your hotel, don't assume you won't be allowed to park in the lot. It's quite possible you can't but it's also possible you can and they will simply charge you for an extra car. If that fails then it's possible you can park in the Target lot down Harbor but I'd be careful with doing that, most lots have the signs up saying the lots are for customers only and unauthorized users will be towed......

I'd check for long term parking lots near LGB and SNA. Most airports have them.

Well, I got it worked out for us! Am still in touch (thank you Facebook) with a friend that I went to elementary school with. Turns out she has a house about 10 minutes from Disneyland where we can park the extra car! Bonus! She's going to be joining us a Disneyland as well! :cheer2:

With that out of the way, I think I'm ready to move forward in the vacation planning (to the stuff more fun than picking a hotel). :)
