Safe,clean hotels off I-95 in SC

Hi everyone-we will be driving to orlando from Bellmawr,NJ (right over the Walt Whitman Bridge from Philly)We will be leaving probably around 5am and we want to drive until we get to NC-SC border,but I am a serious hotel/motel snob.I am seriously phobic of roaches. Also what are some of the better exits with nice clean Motels/Hotels.Any advice please

PS-South of The Border is out of the running,I've heard too many bad things about it

About a half Hour or 45 mins from South of the Boarder is Florence and they have some nice hotels right off the interstate.

We use to stay in Walterboro they have a group of hotels right off 95. They are small but they were clean and affordable. The easy off on was great too.
