Safari Grand Gathering in December?

Has anyone booked the safari GG for December yet? I was told by a CM that they weren't booking them and all safaris had been cancelled.

Should I call back and talk to another CM?

I have been trying to get our plans for this completed. Due to a Disney mess up we lost our 10 spaces but I have been assured that we have three spots and they are looking for at least five more for me.

I have not heard that any of the GG safari's have been canceled.

I would call back!

We booked one. First our TA told us that it was availible on the Friday that we were down there but the couldn't book until 180 days out. So I made all my plans around the Friday. When I made my ADR's I inquired about it so they sent me to the GG line and they told me it wasn't availible on the Friday it was only availible on the Sunday. They also told me they couldn't book it for me since I was booked through CAA they would have to call and they had some spots open for that day but they go quick. Well my TA wasn't in until the afternoon but she was able to book it for bus but I still don't have my confirmation, she said Disney would mail it to her and she would send it out to us.

I am on hold with GG right now. As far as they know the Safaris may be booked full but not canceled.

They are hunting for my Jasmine as our ADR is still all messed up! I guess now instead of three of us booked they can only find two of us! Good Grief! What a mess!

Thank you!! I just called back and was told that the safari on 12/25 is full.

Well I just called this afternoon and was told dates have not been released yet for Christmas day and to call back Saturday 6/26 when they will be released.

Ugh!! Really? I guess I'll call back 6/26 and see if they tell me something else!
