Safari before Tusker House Reservation???

Our routine every time we go to Animal Kingdom is to arrive well before RD, and head to Expedition Everest, then straight to the Kilimanjaro Safari. In late May we have a ROL dining package reservation at Tusker House at 9:35, and would like to head straight to KS and ride before our reservation. Can any one who normally heads to the safari first, give me their opinion of the possibility that this will work?

It'll work.

If some animals happen to block your vehicle, that can slow you down some, but even if you are late for your ADR, you'll be fine.

The safari itself can take 25-30 min. You could do the safari if everything runs smooth and no animals block the road and you guys are there quickly to get on. Park opens at 9am, you'd probably get on the safari about 9:10/9:15.

ADR's you can show up a little late, 5-10 min doesn't matter. But doing the safari and having unpredictable elements that could interfere, I think it would be cutting it really close. Id rather ride Everest, eat, then go on safari.

With a 9:00am opening? The safari is about 20 minutes, and what if an animal decides to camp out on the path and delays the ride? That would be cutting it too close for my comfort, but I'm not much of a risk taker. Is is possible? Sure. Would I do it? No way.

But, if you are concerned about the timing... why not just do EE a time or two, instead of Safari, before your ADR?
