Does anyone know if this is part of the Flame Tree Barbecue in Discovery Island? Thanks.

I am not quite sure what you are referring.....if you are referring to the Safari Celebration Dinner then it is Tusker House as the restaurant. I really do not know anything regarding the offerings there at this meal. But we have done the Sunrise Safari twice (from AKL) and it ended up at the Tusker House for a buffet breakfast that was great....the best breakfast at WDW these days. If the dinner is as good as the breakfast, then you will not be disappointed.

But again, can't recall ever hearing of a Safari Barbeque....though if I went by the name, I would guess Flame Tree could be involved.

No it's not. They are two separate places. Flame Tree is located a little ways down from Safari Barbecue which serves turkey legs & chicken wings whereas Flame Tree serves barbecued chicken & ribs.

Somehow the title of this thread got me to imagining that poor zebra being mauled by the lions on the one attraction being put on a spit and BBQ'd and served up at the Tusker House by the plate.

Wonder if that is on the DP??

Pardon me, have had little sleep and my brain is more offbeat than usual. :dance3:
