Saddle shoes? No way. My mom wanted me to get them for school one year bit I refused to look like Bert from Sesame Street.
However, I did have blue platform sandals (yes, I was a child of the 70's), rainbow striped toe socks, a satin jacket, and a lovely sweater with Bugs Bunny knitted on the front. Oh yeah, I was a fashion plate.
