Anyone else think that his execution was too easy a punishment? I thought I would like the whole "eye for an eye" thing" but I now, I don't know. I think years and years in a 10 X 10 cell would have been better. This was far too quick, easy, and pretty much painless minus a few hours (minutes?) of possible fear.

I think it was fair. He killed people so he should have the same end as them. And it was pretty painful because he was hung and I mean that would hurt to have your next snapp. And plus we don't know if it was sudden after his neck snapped or if it took a few minutes. But I think it was fair and a fair trial.

They had an expert on TV last night (either CNN or Fox can't remember since we switched back and forth) who said the hanging done correctly is not painful. When done correctly the blood flow to the brain is stopped. The brain has less than 10 seconds of oxygen saved up. In less than 10 seconds the brain goes to sleep and the pain in the body is not recognized by the brain. I too thought that breaking the neck was the real desire.

I guess the goverment could be pulling the wool over our eyes and really moved him to some private island in the middle of God knows where to live out the rest of his nautral life. Its hard to believe everything that our government or another government tells us. Look how honest they have been with us in the past few years.
