some local man just died by falling through thin ice while he was out taking photos they said his gf found him in a partly frozen pond with his camera around his neck..very sad . so just a thought to be careful taking all those nice snowy shots and if you are by water make sure it's safe

I know how easy it can be to be soo focused on the picture that you loose track of your surroundings. I have found myself tripping over things/people, stepping into pot holes, etc. I took a nasty tumble over the line-ropes at DL while in line for Dumbo. Saved the cameral but scratched up the knees real bad. Luckily that is the worst that has happened.

OMGosh Jan, that's horrible. Frozen ponds scare the you-know-what out of me. I see kids walking out on our neighborhood one all the time. They all think I'm nuts, I scream my head off at them.
