hubby has announced that we are cutting down the four cherry trees this fall........first it was the 50 cedar waxwing birds that helped devour our cherry trees.....then it was the fungus that they brought with them and deposited on our trees....so each spring after the blossoms fall.....we have to spray to keep the fungus under control.....and then the caterpellers found us this year and some other ungodly bug ....little black bibbets....so he said this is it.....they are out of here.......now we are talking about 18 foot high bings and montmorency.....and then the stellas........one of the trees is very very tall and we can't get the nets over them any more......big big sigh......those are out of here and so are the blueberry bushes.....we will keep the pear tree and see how it does.......still have the 12 beautiful lilacs and the ever blooming old rose bush......(now why can't that one be gone)
