My husband is keeping watch with two of his sisters at his father's bedside. My father-in-law was diagnosed with colon cancer last Christmas, and I believe his fight is almost over. Please say a prayer for him if you have a moment.

They've got my prayers.

It was 3 years ago today that we lost my dad to pancreatic cancer. I wish it was 3 years & 3 months ago so I could spend that time with him again. :sad1:

I hate Cancer I have had so many family members die from it.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry. Prayers and healing thoughts for your family, and a peaceful transition for your FIL.

I'm so sorry. Over 3 years ago, my 2 brothers and I and my aunts were at my mother's bedside at the end, she had breast cancer. It was difficult but it helped to know that she was at peace, no longer suffering. Her face was tense right after she died but about 10 minutes later it softened and she actually smiled a little! I like to think that is when she met my dad and her parents in heaven.

I'm so sorry. I lost my mother on October 7, so it wasn't long ago that I was sitting at her bedside, saying my goodbyes, knowing the end was near. This past Sunday was her birthday, and now the holidays are coming. It's a difficult time to lose someone you love. My heart goes out to your family.

As a mom, to a daughter that was diagnosed with lymphoma in September, I have the utmost understanding of what you are going through. Be there for for your husband. He needs you. You are all in my prayers.

Prayers to you and your family:)

My mom is 70, she had colon cancer, diagnosed 3 years ago, we are blessed she is still healthy ...
As you know, things change quick sometimes.
I have been involved with ACS Relay for Life, and know many people volunteer and have great empathy for those having to endure what your FIl is going through, as well as his loved ones.
Prayers coming your way....
