sad news.....

well i have sad news to report.....

at 7:00 last night my sidekick passed away! it's official. it has been acting up and it finally just died!! my dh tried to fix it, to no avail. well i can't believe it. i have had it forever!!! i need it to do the abc because i have a long sizzlits border die that i want to use. my heart is broken.....
we will be having a memorial service for it over the holiday weekend. my dh said oh well chuck it in the trash! he has no heart.

thought i'd share my grief!

I use my sidekick a lot. I would be just as devistated if anything happend to him.

i think i'll have to buy one today from sizzix online.
but nobody can replace my original!

OH my! I'm so sorry.. your trusty sidekick deserves a proper goodbye.. might I suggest tossing it at DH's head for just opting to trash it!!! (Just kiddin', men they just don't understand!)

I hope you find a new one that will at least attempt to hold its own after your trusty sidekick...

You mean because the strip is longer than the adapter/cutting board of the bigkick?

yes that is what i mean. i have the long cutting pads for the strip but what would i put it on????

Maybe you could take the adapter pad into Lowes and get a plank of wood that proper depth and long enough for the longer cutting pad?
