Sad news.

During one of my bajillion trips to the hospital, my mom met another woman who's 16 year old son Andrew also had cancer. I didn't meet him because I was in bed all the time, but my mom would visit his room many times just to cheer him up.
Andrew had a rare spinal cancer that had no treatment. Doctors in Philly turned him down because treatment wasn't working.
When we stayed at the hospital overnight for a transfusion, my mom asked how he was doing. It wasn't good. He was finding new tumors everyday and he knew he wouldn't see his 17th birthday this August. They celebrated his birthday in the hospital as he was getting sicker and sicker.

My mom told me today that Andrew had passed on. Could you please say a prayer or good thought for his family? I know they're going thru a real rough time now.

RIP Andrew.

That's terrible, I'm really sorry even though you never knew him personally.
My grandparents had to lose a child (my aunt) to cancer, it's such a terrible disease =(

Well, we have to face the fact that Kids are dying now adays. I know that there's something wrong about it, but what can we do? Even you and me, or any1 can die at any moment. It's the sad truth.
