Sad News - Had to cancel trip

Well, we had our trip all planned out, down to the last detail and we had everything paid off, except for the rental car and gas there and back, but unfortunately, we are having some financial problems so my DH & I had to make the very hard decision yesterday to cancel our trip and get our money back (before we got charged a penalty for cancelling). We are hoping to save some money and go maybe in another year or so, but getting within 54 days of our trip and having to cancel is so sad. I was crying a lot yesterday and kinda depressed. It being a rainy, dreary day today isn't helping matters.

Sorry you had to cancel. This is one of those, in the long run we made a good decision but it sure sucks right now, kind of deals. Here is some pixie dust, and I hope you get to plan another trip soon.

Sorry to hear that. I know it's disappointing, but look at it this way. You and DH did the responsible thing and chose your finances over a vacation. There are plenty of people who would have taken the trip anyway and dealt with the consequences later, if you know what I mean.

I'm sorry to had to cancel your trip. I know when you are able to go, you & dh will have a great time esp. since you will not have to worry about paying for the magic when you get home.

I know the feeling - I had a short but sweet trip planned back in September, but cancelled three days prior to leaving! It was the right thing to do in my case. I was able to transfer the balance to another set of dates, so it worked out.
