Sad news for the disABILITIES community

Tonight we lost eternaldisneyfan (Christamae) and I just read that last month, Singledad (father of 5 yr old SN girl on the boards here quite a bit) passed away from cancer. Thoughts and prayers go out to all the loved ones our friends left behind.

Very sad, indeed.

I had seen about singledad on facebook. It was quite a shock. I'm thankful for the time I got to virtually know him. Didn't get to meet them in real, but feel like I know him and his dd, as they were planning their trip a couple years ago in May.

That is so sad. My dad has cancer, and he is almost at the point where he won't be able to live for very long. Prayers going out to both families.

Oh no, so sad. I will add them to my prayer list.

This time of year is especially heart breaking.

I lost my Mom this summer and the missing chair at Thanksgiving was sad.

Yes, her dog was named Skye.
Sadly, the dog was also sick and I am not sure survived.

Can anyone confirm if Singledad's passing was noted to the DisDads. I know my husband is a member and I don't remember seeing anything. I would like to notify them if need be. They also have a facebook page and I could not find anything.
