Sad Little Lobster Roll???

Maybe the McDonald's lobster roll was only in Maine or New England states. Only in the summer and I am not sure they have had it recently. But it wasn't bad for what it was.

Really, it is hard to make a bad lobster roll. Don't overcook the lobster, add only a very little mayo, put on roll with a lettuce leaf. That's it. Well, that's my recipe for it!

Ahhh, my favorite recipe for a lobster roll? No lettuce....no roll...no mayo.


Just roll it on over this way!

When we were at F&W the 1st wk in Oct. we had the lobster roll and it was much bigger. The lobster meat was coming out both ends of the roll. Maybe they've cut back.

I hope they are not trying to pass that off as a Maine lobster roll.

Looks like way too much mayo and the big chunk in the front looks stringy (a sure sign of warmer water lobster).

The McD lobster rolls were better looking and for 6.99 you also got a deep fried blueberry pie and an iced tea.

I just got back from my F&W trip, and while I didn't buy the lobster roll, I did see a few of them on plates. The roll is maybe 4" long (probably closer to 3"), and I didn't see any lobster sticking out of the sides. Not worth the price, IMO. My friend had the crab cakes, and said they were really good.
