I'm wondering if anyone has ever had to rebook a flight before? I've purchased a flight to WDW which leaves on the 28th but I'm going to have to change it due to my Mom being very ill. I did buy a ticket that I can change so I lucked out there but I feel that, well I need time and so I'd like to rebook it for the Monday after Thanksgiving next year instead, only Lufthansa are not offering those flights yet.
Now..I can wait and contact them closer to my departure date and then those flights should be available but I know I'm canceling and that makes me nervous, not having it taken care of because there is so much to deal with here at home :sad1:.
Seems silly now that I've typed it out but if I can't get my dates, what dates would you choose instead in November?
Also, I'd like free dining again if it were offered, can anyone manage a guess what date I should pick so there's a good chance of that? Personally I think late November but then there's the new Fantasyland opening, maybe they won't need to offer it?
Anyone? Thank you :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Sorry to hear you're having to rebook, especially in the circumstances, you poor thing. You've enough on your plate so no, ofc it's not silly to write it, least of all here where I think most people understand these sorts of worries if they were in the same situation!

I can't really help much with any Dining/flights advice but did want to say that late April/early May before it gets too hot and early-mid October (Food & Wine Festival!) are both lovely times to visit. Normally low-ish crowds and weather hot but not too humid.

Hope everything works out ok for you :goodvibes

We like to go in september due to the crowd levels usually being lower then and the weather is not as hot and humid as July/August time. The meal deal is offered at that time as well so thats a plus.

September should be on sale for next year with Lufthansa as well so you should be able to get your dates swapped over easier.

It would unusual for an airline to let you change your dates to go past a year so if your booked for this 28th November i would think you would have to go before that date at least next year.

The current offer for the meal deal ends i believe 15th November but if you've already booked and got it for this year they might swap it over if you book after 15th November but you might want to run that by them to be sure if the Meal Deal is important for you.

Thank you :). DisneyMad I am going to think about it for a few days and maybe I will book it for closer. I'd always wanted to visit during the flower garden festival!

General Panic I've been once in September and for me it was to hot and humid, but we did go to a Halloween Party and that was soo much fun! You are right about the low crowds and free dining! I have a bit to think about still, thanks :thumbsup2!
