One of my really good friends is having a really hard time.
She is the sweetest girl ever who plays on my softball team.
She is always there for people and can always make me laugh.
Well...
Her dad died Friday and the funeral was today.
He died from drinking.
Either alcohol posioning or choking on his own vomit or something.
It was really sad.
They couldn't afford a fancy funeral so they had a small gathering of people to say goodbye.
My friend made a speech about him that really made me cry.
Her mom and sister are both pregnant, so one child will be born without a father and one without a grandpa.
They aren't very well off, so our team is trying to help them out by giving them some money.
But if you guys could keep her in your prayers, that would be great.
