Sabrett hotdog question!

Ok this is a wierd question I know but I figured Id ask it anyways!! I never buy Sabrett hotdogs (I usually buy nathans) well I bought some today and opend the package and they were slimy kinda thick slimy(consistancy of mucus!! yeah I know its gross, is this how they allways are?????
Or do you think they are bad???

It sounds gross and it looks really gross, but that's how they always look. When we buy them, I rinse that stuff off before cooking them.

Thanks Rita!! I smelled them and they smelled ok but I was afraid to rinse them and try one but maybe I will now!! lol They really do look and feel grose!!

Really, I always buy Sabrett and never noticed any slime.

That is all my DH likes, and I have never had them be slimy. Hmm... don't think we would eat them...

We usually buy Sabrett (Nathan's is my other choice) and have never encountered slime. Something was wrong with your package. Anytime we have the least bit of doubt about foods, it gets tossed... uh, before we eat it. Well, sometimes afterwards
