So guys - what are your thoughts on a DIS Meet on board???? We could do a Sailaway Party and say good bye to Port Canaveral together. I think others have done lunch together. Others that have stayed the night before the cruise at the Raddisson have had a pool party.

Well, I think most of the above works Robin!

We need to figure out who's game, and what parts work for them. Lunch may not be possible to do. I'd suggest:

• Meet at the Radisson pool at 7:00(?) the night before for some kibbitzing and snacks(anyone who's making grocery runs bring something)
• Meet on Deck 10 for sailaway by, say, right after the drill?

Also, who's planning on staying onboard for the Nassau day? Mary(wdwlvr) and I are. Maybe Lunch would work on that day.

We are not planning on being at the Radisson the night b4 the cruise, but the Sailaway Party gathering sounds like a great idea!!

I'm not sure about Nassau. We probably won't do any excursions that day - but I think I <i>would</i> like to go in town to do some shopping!

I have to check with DH to see what time our flight is on Saturday. I know that it's a bit later, so I don't know if we'll arrive in time for the pool bash.

The Sailaway Party will work. I don't know about Nassau day. DH and I stayed onboard the last time and would do the same, but DD will be with us so we may do some exploring.

And welcome to BethC and family!!! So glad that you found this thread. Everyone was wondering who the other "mod" is!

I am getting excited. SWA just opened up reservations for the time period of the cruise. Guess I will checking in there until I get a good rate.

So lets see - we have a pool party at the Radisson and a Sailaway at PortCanaveral. Any other ideas????

As for Nassau day - I am not sure yet - We had Matt that last time we were there. I think I will at least like to look around. Maybe the Pirate Museum.

American has just dropped prices on a lot of flights in that time frame now too, just booked ours at $183 each roundtrip.

We won't be at the Radisson (we'll be at the Indian River House B+B), so we'll miss the pool gathering, but the sailaway sounds good... that way we'll at least recognize each other on the cruise. What time do they let us board? When is a good time to get to the port?

We're excited. We took the Maiden Voyage on the Magic (complete with LOTS of problems) so... we're ready to give it another try... never been on the Wonder

I'm home now, ok I'll clarify; Info on stuff for us to do for the cruise, not stuff DVC is doing, all I have on it I've already written in my trip report!

It will be Me (Louanne) my DH (Ken) our DD (Missy) and Niece (Alyssa). This is our 3rd 4 night. Last December we did our first 7 day. We are all so excited. Deck 7 port-side.
