S.S. Member Cruise Deposit?

What's the going rate for the required per person deposit amount for DCL these days and if we are paying cash, do we just need to put that amount down on Saturday, or will they require the full amount at the time of booking since this is a "special" cruise. Also, I'm wondering if there are the same cancellation clauses as there would be if booking directly with DCL. Although we've cruised before, booking with cash through member services is a little foreign to us.

I'm curious about that also. After initially saying we would keep our 2/9 cruise, we decided to call and find out more about the 2/2 cruise. I already have a $400 deposit down for the 2/9 cruise, since we were paying cash. Normally, you would not do a total cash ressie through member service so it will be interesting how they handle it. All my DCL through DVC have been all points. It is my understanding if you do a mixture of points and cash you must pay the entire amount when you book. So I would think that we may have to pay the entire amount when we book.

Full payment is required at the time of booking for the SS member cruise. Just as full payment with points is required at booking Normal DCL cancellation policy is in effect for cash reservations.
