?'s on M:S for non-riders

I doubt DS and I will ride M:S for a variety of reasons but I am wondering if it will be possible for us to enter with our other family members then take a chicken exit? We would like to see the inside. Also, have seen that there is an interactive area, wondering if you can enter this area without going on the ride itself? Thanks.

I just experienced the same situation this week. DH and DD were ready to ride, DS and myself were not sure if we wanted to!!

DH went to get FastPasses, and I asked the CM at the entrance about the chicken exit. (I've read on the boards that one does exsist) He stated there was no chicken exit, if you got in line, you rode!! I also heard them loudly announcing this outside the line. There must be an exit, but they don't seem to want to allow sightseeing by us chickens!! I wasn't about to take a chance of not being able to get out!!!!

We were able to enter the store/interactive area. It is to the left as you are looking at the ride. The interactive area has some fun things to do. I liked the postcard station! My DS liked the video game, and there is also a group activity where one side of guests compete against the other side on a mission.

DD did ride with his Dad and loved it, I remained a chicken!

Myabe someone could explain why they are discouraging use of the chicken exit? Maybe to keep the lines down?

Yes, vicb, there definitely is a chicken exit. My DD and I chickened out after we saw the pre-info stuff on screen after we were already divided into rows. We did the followed a CM out to where the exit was. Before you walk into the store on your right hand side (it may have some ropes around it) there is a bunch of consoles where you "control" the mission that is happening. DD8 really thought we were in control of DH and DS's mission. Anyway there are 2 teams that compete against each other to complete tasks. We really enjoyed it and would be just as happy to do that then even try to do M:S.
