First if this is the wrong forum I'm sorry. I wasn't sure where to put this.
My DS11 and I are have booked a 10 night package with free dining from 9-23 to 10-3. The trip is paid for.

My niece17, is now thinking about coming with us. She doesn't really want to stay the entire 10 nights. She would like to stay 5 or so.

I called Disney and asked how much it would be to add her to our package. They said she would be able to stay in the room without any additional cost because the cost of the room is the same for 1-4 people. I was suprised and happy about this. ( Her flight is going to cost me a fortune!)

However, in order to get the free dining she would have to stay the full 10 nights and get the same tickets that we bought. So I would need to get her a 10 night park hopper with the water parks option even though she is only staying 5 nights. She would be able to use ME to WDW but since she will be leaving early I don't think she can ride it back to the airport so I will need to pay for her to take a shuttle.

I think this would still be cheaper than paying for her to eat for 5 days but I am wondering about the unused credits. Would my son and I be able to use them for the 2 credit restaurants? Even then we would never be able to use all of the cs and snack credits left.

After she leaves will they wonder why we have credits for 3 when there is only 2 people?

Should I just be honest and tell them that she will only be there for 5 nights? The woman on the phone couldn't seem to answer any of my questions. She really acted like I was trying to pull a scam or something. I'm really not. I'm just wondering.

Has anyone here every had someone join you for aprt of your trip? How did it effect your package?

Should I just order her a 5 day ticket and pay for her shuttle both ways and all her food OOP?

Any opinions would be welcome...

Thanks, Shellie

P.S. I am sorry this is so long....

Yes for the package everyone has to be on it and all the tickets the same.

Not sure about the dining credits as some say you can, other you can't.I think the credits are on the room to use others say they are on the indivual person but I think you would be able to use the extras.

If she plans on going back anytime you might want to add no-Expire on her pass the day she leaves .

She can however take ME back we just did it for DN she was coming later in the week .The CM at ME check-in said no problem when you get her info give a call.So when you check in at ME let them know and they can give you her pick-up time the day before with no problem.

She may not stay in the package room unless booked with the package.

Since it is a "free dining" package it doesn't matter, cost wise, if she arrives later or departs earlier.

A ticket alternative: Order 5 day tickets for everybody and expand everybody else's tickets to 10 day after you get there and check in.

Sorry, I think I made my OP to long.

When I called Disney they told me that she would have to check in with us and she would have to stay the entire length of the package or she would not get free dining...I was thinking she would not be able to use ME because she is not suppose to leave early.

I was also wondering what would happen to her Dining credits after she left. Would they be on my room key? Could my son and I use them or would they just go to waste?

She is a fickle little thing and I'm still not sure she is going. I gave her till Wednesday to tell me for sure so I could buy the airline tix's.

Thanks guys
