I don't remember getting her, but I've had her as long as I can remember. My DD7 fell in love with her, so I repaired her the best I could. My 1980s Minnie:
My first Disney plush I didn't get until I was in my late 20s in 1997-it's a large Big Al from the Country Bear Jamboree. I just love him in the show, and found him in the Frontierland Trading Post. This one is not mine-mine is on a high shelf with a lot of other WDW souvenirs, but it looks the same:
It was the last day of our trip and so I couldn't have him delivered to the hotel and I was afraid I'd forget about him if I sent him to the front of the park for pick-up. So, I carried him around with me and a whole bunch of cast members commented on him. I gather he was only sold there at the Trading Post, but I could be wrong.
I have a giant Winnie the Pooh from when I was born (1997)! Used to have my Power Puff Girl action figures pretend he was Godzilla and try to take him down.
I am pretty sure my first Disney plush was a little 8" Minnie Mouse in her classic red and white polka-dot dress. From a hospital gift shop.
The second plush, I am pretty sure, was my 12" Bambi with poseable legs... with a department store tag.
