S/O - With air prices this low...

That is a good price. I just checked and from SEA - MCO on 2/15 to 2/22 it is $1,521 for economy. Yes they can get away with charging that much because people will pay it.

I see some less on expedia. Delta non-stops for $1027 main cabin economy which is still not cheap.

Yeah Alaska is charging $1,500 for the same flight. They can get away with charging more because people are so loyal. My mother in law paid $1,900 to go to Hawaii during Spring Break in 2023 even though Delta was charging less. After all Alaska is Seattle's hometown airline...

Note the "basic economy". What doesn't that include that you'll need? And guessing it will be a middle seat in the back of the plane for a 9 - 10 hour flight.

Yes, it's cheap, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
These are good points.

I'm preparing myself either to sit in a centre seat or have to pay more to pre-book. Likewise, I'm expecting for there to be a surcharge if I want to put any luggage in the hold. Still, even allowing for these, it's a good deal.

It’s so nice to see VA doing flights from Orlando through Gatwick again. I love Gatwick. Heathrow can feel so overwhelming due to its size and the number of people passing through. Gatwick just feels so calm in comparison.
