I have the answer for your bra woes - Soma Intimates. I wear a 34/36 DDD and it was impossible to find anything that fit right. Then this store opened up by our mall. It is AMAZING! My back no longer hurts, and I have nice bras, with super comfy straps, that don't look like they should belong to my grandmother.

If you have one near you, go take a look. My problem was also that the larger bras seemed to go from my belly button up to my ****s. I have a very small torso, and these dont do that!


As for the dresses not zipping....story of my life. I recommend a good seamstress.

My jean woes are that my legs are short, and therefore ANY stylish jean I buy needs to be hemmed because all the 'trendy' jeans are made for women who are 6 feet + apparently. lol

Ohhh... and shopping for clothes for a small boy? Forget about it...

Until he hit the size 8 in kids, there were hardly ANY clothes for little boys in ANY clothes.. grrrrr... Go into any department store and you will see this.. acres upon acres of little girl clothes and little boys have all of one rack.

My sister and I have the opposite problem. We are broad shouldered so need a larger band, but small chested. It is hard finding many styles that have a 36/38 band in A or B cup.

I get all my bras at Victorias secret as they hold up well. But I can't pinpoint my size. I have two differnt colors of the same kind or bra and one is comfy and even on the loose side and the other is a bit tight. I tried other stylers in the same size and they were way too tight and I had to get 2 sizes up.

I am ticked to death finding pants for myself. I do NOT look good in skinny leg jeans and it is getting harder and harder to find flattering in style pants with a bit of stretch to them. I have some great ones from Macys in brown and want black and gray but couldn't find them there. I searched old navy and gap and they have such a small selection and sell out of my size instantly. Anything that is on sale they only have size zero left. I love abercrombie and hollister for me but the clothes are so small even the extra large. I have come to detest shopping. I just forked our a fortune to the limited online hoping the pants i ordered fit.

Now that I'm a smaller size again, I should look into VS for bras. They tend to be pricey, but sometimes you can get a good deal.

If it makes you feel any better, the opposite is also true. It is nearly impossible to find a larger banded bra that is not at least a DD.

I might be onboard with the standard jean sizing, as long as I didn't have to wear it advertised on my waist like a guy.

Yeah try finding a 36A, and coverage? Non-existant if you know what I mean.
we have that 'headlight' problem too but the bra companies don't seem to know that.

Standard sizing? I'd love that, as I'd love jeans that actually fit at the waist instead of below my belly.

I like low rise jeans. I have a really short torso, so if I get jeans that hit at my belly button, they are practically at my bra!
