Spin off to the other thread…

Which is your favorite restaurant based on food and theme?

For me:
Food - ‘Ohana
Theme- Be Our Guest

Food: Was The Wave (have a ressie for Steakhouse 71, so we will see if it replaces it)
Theme: 50s Prime Time or Sci-Fi Dine In (so many with good theme)

Food- Tony's Town Square. Just kidding. Tie between California Grill and Tiffins.

Theme- Garden Grill. Something special about seeing Living with the Land below you, and the character interaction is always fantastic.

We've had many favorites in the past, but most have dropped off our list. We do like Trattoria Al Forno for both breakfast and dinner. Theming isn't that important. I'd rather a good meal for a decent price.

There are too many great places to only pick one! I'll give it to you by park.
MK ) Food - Liberty tree, Theme - CRT
AK ) Food - Yak and Yeti, Theme - Rainforest
HS ) Food - 50's Prime Time, Theme - Sci-Fi
EP ) Food - Le Celier, Theme - Garden Grill when it used to rotate.
DS ) Food - STK Orlando, Theme - Planet Hollywood

Food
- Chefs de France (French Onion Soup; Boeuf Bourguignon)
- Coral Reef Restaurant (Shrimp and Grits; Seared Mahi Mahi)
- Liberty Tree Tavern
- Grand Floridian Cafe
- The Boathouse (Jumbo Lump Crab Cake)

Theme
- Liberty Tree Tavern
- 50s Prime Time Cafe

Clearly, it’s nearly impossible to choose only one. These are some of my current favorites.

MK - None. Worst food choices on property.
EP - (Food) Chefs de France (Theme) Akershus
AK - (Food) Tiffins, (Theme) Tusker House
HS - (Food) Hollywood Brown Derby (Theme) 50’ Prime Time
Resorts - (Food) Sanaa (Theme) Whispering Canyon

I forgot about the Boathouse. The Sea of Cortez shrimp are so good!

I went there with my family for the first time this past August and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Sea of Cortez Shrimp as well and they were very good! The Boathouse will likely be our dinner spot for arrival day at Disney Springs from now on.

Who would have ever thought one would be excited to pay $4 for one shrimp lol

Food - tie between Flying Fish, California Grill and Jiko. Of course most are not open and one is changing, so who knows. . .
Theme - Sci Fi Drive in. 50's Prime time is close. The food has been good, but the experience is very server dependent.

By Park:
MK - BoG for theme, Skipper Canteen for food
AK - Tiffins, Satu ' Li for a cheap good meal
HS - generally don't, but Brown Derby for food
EPCOT - Lots of great choices for food.
