S.O.S. - I need your help - t-minus 16 and counting !

This is Captain America with an urgent plea for HELP from any and all DISers !
1. unable to get a priority seating for Garden Grille and thus cannot do re-hitching ceremony ! I need to come up with another romantic option to celebrate our 17th Anniversary without breaking the bank (no I am not another cheapskate husband), and it must include our son (15) and daughter (13) .
2. going to AK Sat. 10/11 and hoping to "hop" over to MK for Wishes and late Spectro - will I have a problem getting in to MK ? and if not what time do you think I should get there by ?
3. are the refillable mugs at ASp the same design/size that they were last year ?

Ok, I'll just answer a little, more will come I'm sure, hang on...

1. Why not consider eating at a favorite restaurant in World Showcase instead? If you don't have a favorite, you could just pick a type of food you like, and eat there. Japanese food is always fun on the hibachi, and Germany's buffet is fantastic, with good entertainment...You guys could probably even get up and dance with your kids during dinner!

3. Supposedly all mugs are good forever as long as they're at the same resort. Someone will have to come verify the truthfulness to that statement, however.

Keep calling for PS at GG, people do cancel. Or have a backup PS and wait to see if one comes open at GG once you arrive at WDW. I agree with WDWAurora about choosing a restaurant in the WS in case you can't get into GG. Good luck.

As for the mug issue, the 'official' notice posted at several resorts food courts says free refills during current stay. But I'm not sure if the mugs have changed at the All Stars so don't know if yours would be obviously different. I stayed one night at Music this summer and the mug was the same was the same as the one I saw at Christmas (I think.)

We have the same plan - only we're hopping over from Epcot! We were hoping the later Spectro would be less crowded...but how early should we get there? Anyone? Are we crazy to attempt this?

btw, we are celebrating our anniversary that night at Marrakesh We've never eaten there and thought the belly dancer would be fun entertainment for our kids I love that type food, although DH isn't as thrilled with it...but when he saw Suite Disney's pic of the dancer, he decided it would be a great idea to eat there
