s/o: How were you punished as a child?

I only remember getting one beating, but my brother got at least one beating a day. Wooden spoon, belt, wooden paddle (lik 1/4 thick wood), plastic spatula (yeah, that's the one, and it stings!). He was eventually put on Ritalin (we were born in 60 and 62) at around age 10. He used to have to eat dinner in his bedroom, he was so disruptive at the table, He was shoved around from class to class in school (no one wanted him in their class), finally went to a special school for kids with behavioral problems (worst thing that could have happened to him) and finally back to regular high school where he graduated. I would say he had issues that were not dealt with properly, and back in the day, there wasn't as much awareness of things like that. However, he is a TOTAL momma's boy at this age, and has either forgotten and/or forgiven my mom (and dad) for all that happened to him.
