SO.......because we got snowed in well.... I think you know what comes next! lol
anyway lying in bed we realized we'll be on the road the next night then staying with relatives for a few nights then Disney ( too tired after a disney day) so we took full advantage of our last night home.
Anyway with out getting to graphic.
Sex is better with less weight! with out a doubt!
certain areas aren;t in the way if you know what I mean.
lol
Figured I'd post it because we are always talking so positive here about all the wonderful aspects of losing weight and out realizations when we experience great new things when the weight comes off. This is one more good thing to add to the list. and if you haven't experienced this yet well then you have another thing to look forward to.
talk to you all when I get back

There are a few areas of life that are greatly affected by significant weight-loss, but this surely one that stands out big-time for most "big losers." :)

I totally agree!!! :earseek:
I've lost 32 pounds (still want to lose at least another 18) and am loving all the changes. To my DH's credit, he has never made me feel unloved, if you know what I mean...hehehe....but with the weight loss I feel so much better about myself, so that really helps. And buying sexy lingerie hasn't hurt either...LOL...:teeth:

I wanted to post something along these lines but was afraid you guys would think I'm a freak or something!

DH and I haven't even had our first weigh in but the energy level is certainly up in that area if you know what I mean and it's nice rediscovering the body of someone you love! Yep, definitely another benefit of losing weight!

If there no other reason to start my diet again(or eating in a better way--some people don't like that 'diet' word) then for better sex!

:jumping1:

I am still lol!!........thanks for the morning jolt!!

I have to agree with you wiskband...
My husband has been really good about my gaining weight over the years. He has never said anything nasty or made any remarks. But you can tell the difference with having lost these 37 pounds. AND I feel better about myself, so that helps too...

So I just got back...... i was reading my IM"s and RAZE seemed to be offended by my post. she states " is this really nessesary.. this is a family website"
Because you have chosen not to allow me to reply to your IM personally, I will here.
I do think it is nessesary.....We here post alot of our personal feelings and we also like to post positive aspects of weigh loss.
S E X happens to be one of them for me and it seems for a few others as well.
I won't get into the birds and bee's but many people feel theres nothing wrong with talking about the "S" word.
I happen to be one of them. I feel I posted a tastful "ungraphic"
POSITIVE pro to losing weight.
I love to reading posts that give me incentives to continue on my journey.....
and yes S E X happens to be part of my life.
I agree this is a family website but we all ( at least most of us)have families due to S E X.

Anyway if the "S" word offends you you probably shouldn't have read my post which makes me wonder............Why did you choose to read it?

Hi Renee, :)

Since RAZE is not a Moderator, I wouldn't worry about this too much! ;) She can decide not to read it if it bothers her that much.

WOW - I'm glad I found this post - Cause I gotta tell you I agree 110%

I've lost 40 lbs and DW has lost 25 lbs - and our love life has indeed benefited from this - what a positive results for the discipline it takes to stick to a health eating life style!::yes:: :p :smooth: :hyper:

Ooh! More incentive for losing those last 25 pounds!!!
Now let's see.....where did I put that black negligee?....oops - did I say that out loud? ;)

O by all means certainly not worried.......anyone is intitled to his/her opinion I just like the opportunity to respond......Also, like to say that all the feedback and/or responses were positive and that although not everyone responded, S E X must be important cause 281 members veiwed it! lol.
PS thanks for support though kelsie.

I agree with you Renee 100%. My DH has loved me unconditionally, no matter what I weighed. So the weight gain has not been a problem for him. Having said that it was a problem for me, because it affected my self esteem. However now that I have lost 72lbs (I lost 21 before WISH) my self esteem is right up there, I feel great, and I have loads of confidence, in all areas of my life. So yes, the weight loss has had a very positive effect on my love life :hyper:

I'd actually be a little creeped-out if my weight affected how much my wife loved me. I'm sure there is some significant impact that self-esteem has on one's ability to enjoy sex, but of course excess weight doesn't have a lock on depressing self-esteem!

By the same token, it should be noted that sex is, to some extent, a physical activity. (Yes, the calories burned count as exercise, though even the most active and prolonged lovemaking doesn't amount to a jelly-donut's worth of exercise. Darnit.) So while, again, there is some significant impact that self-esteem has on one's ability to enjoy sex, the impact of improved physical condition shouldn't be underestimated.

This carries on to non-sex-related physical activity. When I first started doing The Firm, it was ALL drudgery. Every last bit of it. There was no good part. No contentment or satisfaction at the end of a session. Each exercise was something to be done, to be gotten through, with no positive reinforcement as I was doing it. Luckily, that didn't last too long -- rest assured, and as time goes on, the physical activity itself provides satisfaction: It actually feels good to do some of this stuff. I especially get a charge out of doing chest-work. I still hatehatehate hamstring work. However, I know that as I get more fit, even that will get less difficult and may even start becoming some color of enjoyable (though it seems so unlikely right now!)
