S. California Spring Break

Requesting SoCal disboarders help.

We are debating whether or not we should start our week long DLR trip on 4/9 or 4/16. We would prefer not be down there when local children are out of school because we have gotten used to DLR in the off season but we can't pass up a trip to see the new Snow White Musical! I can't wait I am so excited

We saw on another thread that it appears that the week of 4/4 will be the busiest. Can't remember where it was though???

<font color=navy>Different schools get out at different times these days.

The Catholic schools get out April 8-18, some public schools get out 3-11, and then you have the year-round schools - I'm not sure when they get out.

Most local public schools will either have the week before or the week of Easter off so I would go 4/16 between those two dates.

That said, we were there last Friday, 3/19, and it was pretty busy. Out of towners on Spring Break filled the park is my guess.

We have decided to stay from 4/13 to 4/19. We will not be going to DLR on the weekend. ( Luv Disneyland, but I'm not crazy)LOL

My guess is that BOTH the week before and after the Easter holiday will be busy, no way to get around that one. So I would go after the 18th to avoid the Easter Break crowd.

That said we are going for our final AP trip until 2005 4/15 - 18. Not sure how I am going to survive 15 months without Disneyland.

My kids school district is out April 3rd-11th. But it will still be packed when you go !

I went for Spring break last year and it was HORRIBLE!! But since we go so often, it didn't make a difference.
