?'s about the Segway

I don't know the answer, but I would imagine that they would be strict about it. When we did the tour last September there was a couple that had to be rescheduled because they were wearing open-toed shoes.

I did this two years ago and there was a couple who decided that they did not want to weighed because of the safety weight limit. Truely, I did not pay attention to what the CM was saying to them. Those things are freaky, but what a blast.

I forget, what is the weight limit? I'm no light weight and I've done the tour twice at DCA and twice at Epcot. Love the Segway tours!

I have never done the tour. I have heard that you have to sign something, but I do not know if that truly is it. The weight limit is there because of the recommended limits from the manufacturer.

Well I'm well below the weight limit but still fat and they didn't ask to weigh me. Honestly if I were above I'm not sure I'd want to do it because it's there for a reason, but you can always call ahead and ask about it. If you are worried about being weighed around other people if they need to double check maybe you can weigh in early before they let everyone in or something.

It is totally worth it if you can do it. But when they say bring comfortable shoes they mean it. My feet actually got quite sore a few times on that ride, but really it was too fun to really pay attention to it.
